Conducts detailed legal and physical due diligence on every shortlisted site — verifying ownership, encumbrances, encroachments, survey records and regulatory clearances before any commitment is made.

Negotiation & Deal Structuring

Leads price negotiations with landowners and brokers, structuring lease or purchase terms that are commercially advantageous for IGO while being fair, transparent and legally sound.

Documentation & Registration

Manages the full documentation process for land transactions — from sale agreements and lease deeds through stamp duty, registration and mutation — coordinating with Legal & Compliance throughout.

Coordination with Engineering & Legal

Collaborates with the Engineering team for site feasibility assessments and with Legal & Compliance to ensure every acquisition is structurally viable and legally protected before finalisation.

Portfolio Management

Maintains a live register of all leased and owned land parcels across the group — tracking lease renewal dates, rent escalations, licence expiries and any boundary or encroachment disputes requiring attention.
