Farm manager support, welfare, development
This team supports the farm managers who run day-to-day operations on the ground — covering welfare, training and professional development so they're equipped to lead at every site. The team also focuses on succession planning, building the next generation of farm leadership from within.
Welfare Support Programmes
Runs structured welfare initiatives for farm managers across all IGO sites — addressing health, housing support, family assistance and emergency aid to ensure managers feel supported and valued.
Training & Skill Development
Designs and delivers regular training programmes on agri-management practices, leadership skills, safety protocols and new techniques — keeping farm managers up to date and effective.
On-Site Welfare Visits
Conducts regular visits to farm sites to assess working conditions, gather feedback from farm managers and identify any welfare gaps that need addressing at the ground level.
Performance Support & Coaching
Works alongside underperforming farm managers to understand challenges, provide coaching, and connect them with the right resources — supporting improvement rather than penalising difficulty.
Grievance Handling
Provides a structured, confidential channel for farm managers to raise grievances — investigating issues fairly and coordinating resolution with HR and Management Operations.
Succession & Leadership Pipeline
Identifies high-potential farm managers, develops individual growth plans and builds the internal pipeline of future farm leadership — reducing dependency on external hiring for senior farm roles.
