Field execution, crop management, farm productivity
IGO Agri Operations runs the day-to-day field execution across IGO's farms and partner sites — crop planning, cultivation cycles, and on-ground productivity tracking. This team is the direct link between agronomic strategy and what actually happens in the field, season after season. As the primary touchpoint with IGO's farm network, the data and field reports they generate feed directly into planning across several other departments.
Crop Planning & Scheduling
Designs season-wise crop plans for every farm site — selecting the right varieties, planning input requirements and setting cultivation timelines that match soil, weather and market conditions.
On-Ground Field Execution
Supervises day-to-day farming activities across IGO's farm network — transplanting, irrigation scheduling, fertilisation, pest management and harvesting — ensuring each activity follows agronomic best practices.
Yield Monitoring & Reporting
Tracks crop performance at each site in real time, compares actuals against planned yield targets, and generates field reports that feed into Data Analytics and CEO-level dashboards.
Farm Network Coordination
Acts as the direct point of contact between head office and farm managers across all sites — relaying instructions, collecting field data and resolving ground-level operational issues quickly.
Input & Resource Management
Coordinates with Purchase and Labour Vendor Sourcing to ensure seeds, fertilisers, pesticides and farm labour reach each site on time and in the right quantities.
Quality Assurance in the Field
Conducts regular field inspections and quality checks on produce at every stage — from cultivation to harvest — to ensure IGO's output meets both internal standards and buyer specifications.
